Rate Increase for Utilities Authority Customers

Effective July 1, 2024, the following rate increases were implemented by the Lee County Utilities Authority to operate a balanced budget for the fiscal year of July 2024 - June 2025. The base rate for all water and sewer types increased from $20 to $21. Water Access fees changed from $2,600 to $2,800. Sewer Access fees changed from $2,800 to $3,000. All meter size fees increased by $100. Processing fees changed from $50 to $65. All temporary service fees increased from $35 to $50. Water and Sewer tier rates also increased per thousand gallons: 0-9000 gal from $2.25 to $2.45, 9001-50,000 gal from $2.75 to $2.95, 50,001-100,000 gal from $3.25 to $3.45, and over 100,001 gal from 3.75 to $3.95.
